Yes! You can enjoy our cheese knowing it’s gluten-free.

Butter is naturally gluten-free, so you can enjoy our butter safely, too.

If unopened and refrigerated, reference the “use by” or “best by” date on the package. Some products may have a manufacturing date, rather than a best by date. Cheese is good for 180 days after manufacturing. Once opened, cheese should be used within 3-7 days.

We use a fermentation-based enzyme in our cheese production. We do not use animal-based enzymes.

We don’t recommend freezing cheese, as this can alter appearance, texture and flavor after thawing. Freezing crystallizes the water in cheese which fractures the delicate fat and protein structures, so it’s not quite the same after freezing and thawing. It’s best to consume refrigerated cheese by the “best by” date on the package!

Butter freezes well, and you can freeze butter for up to four months if frozen prior to the use by date on the package. Butter may begin to lose its fresh butter taste and pick up flavors and odors from the freezer if stored longer than that.  Once the butter is removed from the freezer, it’s best to use it within 30 days.

Yes! The enzymes used in our cheese production are not animal-based, making our products vegetarian-friendly.

Mold can begin developing once cheese is exposed to air.

The “best by” date on each product indicates freshness if the package hasn’t been opened yet. Once the package has been opened and exposed to air, there is potential for mold to develop. We recommend using opened cheese within 3-7 days.

AMPI cheese, butter and powdered dairy products are non-GMO, with the exception of shredded cheese. This particular item includes an anti-caking ingredient sourced from GMO derived raw material. The anti-caking ingredient prevents the cheese shreds from caking together.
